December (Wednesday, December 3, 2008 / 11:41 AM)
here i am, at my father's desk with the computer in front of me, thinking of what to blog about. friends, it has been a lomg and boring november, i'm not sure how i'm gonna get through with december. the Earth is changing and i just can't stand the heat here, in Singapore. i mean, it's December, isn't it supposed to be raining like everyday? instead, the weather has been burning hot and it has hardly rained. i in my dad's room, dying from the heat. i can't find the remote control for the fan. so i guess i'll just have to open the windows and enjoy the breeze(if there's any).
i feel like visiting San Fransisco again to enjoy the cool breeze and wonderful sight of the golden gate bridge. and then we could drive to Santa Cruz and visit the Mystery Spot. i think that's was a really interesting place. it's really cool because everything you see looks like it's tilting to a certain angle but it's actually straight. there is a house at the top of the hill. once you get in the house, it's really hard to stand up.(that's why they provide railings) the moment my brother went into the house, he fell down. and there is this handle on the ceiling. when hang from it, you will realize that you are tilting sideways. it's like there's a force pulling you sideways.
i still remember the time i went to LAX. we went to Disneyland for 2 days. i'm a huge roller coaster fan. i sit on every roller coaster ride i see. my sis was a scaredy cat. she only sat on the kiddy rides with my brother and cousin. it was so stupid. then we went to Knot's Berry Farm. the roller coaster there were amazing. there was this all wooden roller coaster. it was quite scary because the only metal part were the nails that hold the wooden planks together. we also went to Universal Studios. the rides there were all related to a movie, like Jurassic Park, The Mummy, The Simpsons, etc.
oh ya... talking about hot, Las Vegas was really really hot during summer. hotter than Singapore. whats more, the weather there is really dry not humid like Singapore. when i went there, i did not sweat at all. my family dreaded going there. we could have spent more time in either LAX or San Fransisco. when i went to Las Vegas, i read the newspaper and found out tat Panic At The Disco would be performing there in a few days. it was really a pity because i would have been done by then. but i still got to see them during SingFest. Kim and i really enjoyed the concert.
i really want to go to America again but i would miss a lot of trainings. and that's not a good thing because South Zone has been brought forward to January and we have not much time left to train. so this holiday is really important. i just hope that we get top 4 in the zone, then we can compete at the nationals. anyway, i hope i can go to America again next year.
signing off,
claire
