confused players (Sunday, December 7, 2008 / 11:53 PM)
yesterday we had a few matches at Sembawang Secondary. i'd say, it was the worst match ever. geraldine was sick, so we had no setter. yun ying had to replace geradine. we played against Dunman High, Sembawang and Hillgrove. we played two matches with each school, and only won one match with Hillgrove. during the second match with Sembawang, yun ying twisted her ankle. we had to replace her but there was no other players whom plays as a setter.
xin yi wanted to be setter as she was trained to be one before. but mdm yau did not wasn't her to be a setter. instead, she chose ying xin. i was like what the hell?! you chose someone who has never been trained to be a setter to go on court to be one? in the end, we lost. mdm yau got angry and told us that we need not need to play the rest of the matches just because we played badly.
i mean, we were more frustrated than her. we went outside and kept talking about the situation. we were like, mdm yau had lke no common sense. how could you put someone who plays center, to be a setter. we were all like, what the hell. okay, i've gotta admit, if there is no geraldine, we will not be as good. we were all pretty confused.
anyway, we continued playing the rest of the matches. we could not play with Hai Sing Catholic because we had to leave early since the bus driver could not pick us up later. after that, i went to church. i gotta know some of the P6s who were joining our group next year. we went for dinner after service at MacDonald's. i ate Mac Spicy, as usual. Pearl's sister was giving ppl free hugs. pearl was pretty embarrassed. i totally understand how she felt. kim, alicia, hannah and i were pretty pissed of with her sis. we were all lucky not to have a sibling like that. she was totally irr. luckily, she only gave the other table free hugs. after eating, we went outside Macs and talked a little. the guys were real funny. they had a lot of jokes to say.
we were standing opposite a massage shop. the guy were like starring at all of us, so one dude had this idea that all of us stared back at him at the count of 3. 1, 2, 3 and all of us stared at him. he got frightened and looked away. it was so funny. after that, we took some pic and my father picked me up.
