Christmas and loads more (Saturday, December 27, 2008 / 11:38 AM)
wow... i have not been blogging for a while now. i guess i've been too busy doing other stuff that totally forgot that i have a blog in existence. i have loads of things to blog about- there is christmas, class chalet, a movie, and a lot more... sorry for this really long post. i'll start of with christmas. A holiday of sharing and joy, i hope you guys had had a wonderful christmas.(Note: the 2 "had"s is not an error)
well, i can say, i had quite a wonderful christmas. there was my cell group party on the 22. to tell you the truth, it was loads of fun. then alicia, nicole and i went out with morgan to bugis on the 23, and i had training before going out. training was fun because mdm yau told the coach not to come. we bought some stuff there and got lost in bugis street- we did not know how to get out of that place, but we did manage to get out after a long time.
24 was christmas eve. i had a dinner with my family at my grandma's house. we definitely had the christmas must haves. we had chicken, ham, potato salad, baked pasta, sausages and other dishes. we thought that we would get tired of eating the same food every year, so we also had sushi and japanese cold noodles. after that, my family played mahjong. i had no idea how that games works until i went for my class chalet.
my class chalet was on the 25. here were the ppl that went: jessica, loke yu ning, siya, wan qing, tsae hwa, mei ping, candice, qing yi, leslie, joel chua, samuel, lionel, jun ping and i. it was definitely not the chalet everyone had expected, but everyone had fun. we went to pasir ris park to cycle. jessica, si ya, tsae hwa and i went as a group. we were cracking loads of jokes and were laughing like mad. we also did some crazy stuff that i wouldn't mention.
we played mahjong when we got back, then we went down for dinner. it was a bbq. jes, candice, mei ping and i went to the beach. it was pitch black, we couldn't see. we sat on the sand and started making sandcastles with our hands. si ya and yu ning soon joined us. after that we went back to the chalet as the tide was starting to rise. we took a shower and played mahjong again. i was starting to realise how the game works by observing the many rounds of playing and also with the help of my friend's explanation.
tsae hwa and i went back at 12 and came back the next morning. we wanted to see the sun rise at the beach, but somehow, the sun was not rising. yu ning, si ya and i went back first and wanted to sleep. in the end, we started cracking jokes again. the rest got back and were playing mahjong. si ya started rapping using the band mane, Panic At The disco. it was hilarious.
after that, we packed up and the girls and guys went separate ways. the girls went for breakfast at Mac Donalds, then they came to my house to play rock band. we went to watch a movie at AMK HUB and guess what movie it was... Twilight. the movie was awesome. i did not know why some ppl said that the movie so tsae hwa had to explain it to them. si ya, on the other hand, slept through half the movie. after the movie, we went home.
it was definitely and exciting week for me. hope yours' was as exciting as mine.
