OMG!!! yesterday i went to SingFest...i like woke up at 6am cos kim said she wanted to be there at 7 . but when i went there at 7, there was nobody there yet.so i kept calling kim but her phone was off, then i call her house, no one picked up. so i went to her house and kept knocking on her door, no one opened. so we went back to fort canning at 8 plus to see if she was there, but she wasn't and there were already ppl queueing up. i tried calling her but no one answered.so i went back to her house.this happened again until 9 plus when she finally smsed me and opened the door. we reached there like about 10.20.
there were about a 100 ppl queueing up already. we waited until 2 till the main entrance gate opened. while waiting, there were soooo many trucks that need to pass through so we had to give way. the moment we sit down for a while, another truck would come...it was like sooo damn irr.
after we passed the main gate, then we had to wait till 3.15 to got through the next gate...then everyone was like complaining cos the website show that the gates would be opened earlier. then this lady was shouting all sorts of vulgarities.then when the gate finally opened, we all ran down to the stage and kim and i managed to stand in the morshpit. and we were like 3 rows from the stage.
then the muttons came out to host the show. the first act was stacie orrico and the second was jamie scott...the crowd wasn't that crazy yet. then one republic came out, the crowd started to push around a little.but when it was panic at the disco's turn....everyone went crazy!! they were all like pushing themselves to the front and totally we were squeezed. while panic were performing everyone was still pushing like mad...ppl were pushing till i almost fell back. my friend told me at the beginning that if ppl push u , u have to push back. if not u will fall and get trampled on.then there was this american teen, she drank sooo much beer and vodka till she got drunk and she was like huggin the ppl beside her ans she took her shirt off...we were so close that ryan from panic was like standing i front of us and everyone stretched their hands out and shouting we love u....
after panic, we wanted to get out of the morshpit.it was sooo squeezy that u can't just turn back and walk out, u had to be carried out by the security by the front...anyway, my fren and i missed half of jason mraz's performances cos we were buying drinks and we didn't want to see pcd ans soar throat lady(alicia keys) perform....no offence
