i just had church today. i love my church, i always look forward to what we are learning during fuel and what the pastor is going to preach during service. all the leaders there are just so passionate about what they are doing and they are always so ready to serve God with all they got. i think that is one thing that makes me wanna go to church every week. everyone there is so passionate about wanting to know more about God. you can see that passion in their eyes.

something Pastor Gary said today really made sense to me. the thing about non-christians is that when they are facing difficulties, they have to find whatever way to solve their problem, but christians will always have God to turn to for help. During fuel today, brother andy brought a pair of boxing gloves and we played a really fun game. i couldn't stop laughing throughout the game. it was really fun.

anyway, after service, nicole and i went to J8 to eat dinner. we ate at KFC. we ordered quite alot of food. we ordered a zinger burger meal, a popcorn chicken meal(we changed the mashed potato into cheese fries) and a shrooms burger. we were so full by the time we finished eating our burgers. there was still the cheese fries and popcorn chicken left. we were struggling to finish those. after eating, we walked around to digest our food a little. we went into Charles & Keith. the shoes there were really nice. i've not been buying shoes from there fr a long time. i love buying shoes, i think i have about 14 pairs of shoes. i always have to find space in my shoe cabinet to put my shoes.

oh ya.... i almost forgot. before going to church, i went to watch a movie with kim, her mum and her friend. we watched Madagascar 2. it was really funny and toughing at some parts. i think my favourite character would have to be the giraffe. the good thing was, i did not have to pay for anything. kim's mum paid for the popcorn and the drinks. and i think she got the tickets for free. thanks kim!! i appreciate it... here are some pix....

cheese fries with chili. at first when nicole poured chili sauce in it, i thought it was disgusting, but i tried it, it tasted really good. and when i poured chili sauce into my cheese fries, my other friend thought it was disgusting.

SHOPPING... that's what i do best. yesterday, nicole and i went to bugis to shop for clothes. but before that, we went to AMK Hub for lunch...we ate pepper lunch there. it was so expensive. $10 for the food and $1.50 for drink, there wasn't student price. i met leslie there.

i was so heartbroken...i spent $80. went i reached bugis, i saw so many nice things and i just bought whatever that was nice.i also hard a hard time choosing what i wanted because everything was so nice.i spent $42 on t-shirts and $28 on a hoodie. after that, we went to bugis junction. i immediately changed into my new t-shirt...lol.

we passed by many nice shops. i passed by the shop were i bought my pair of flats from. the designs there are really unique and cute but expensive. my shoe costs about $80 plus. i mean what do u expect from a product made in Japan.

i still remembered that we took so long just to find a toilet. then we went back to AMK Hub to get some bubble tea and i met regina there.we walked around for a while and then we went home. i brought $100 and was left with$20 at the end of the day. for once i thought that i would not be like how i was previously. i used to spend every cent i got last time. i'm trying to save money since i that now i know how important money is and how hard my father has to work to earn money...anyway, took some pictures,here they are...

dream....another weird one ( / 12:03 AM)

here's the dream i promised that i'd post...
here's how it was. i've been hoping for The Academy Is... to perform in Singapore because i missed their previous concert. and i think it was because i thought too much of it, that's why i dreamt about it.

i planned an outing with my friends jessica, anila, yu ning and si ya to got to vivo city. jessica turned up at my house and told me that since it was raining, the rest decided to come later. so jes and i went ahead. went we reached there, vivo city in my dream isn't the same as vivo city in real life. there was a huge concert hall there. jes and i headed to the arcade and suddenly everyone was there.

then i saw the sign: The Academy Is... concert. i saw ppl queueing up for the concert. i was so happy they were performing. i asked my friends if they wanted to watch the concert with me and they agreed. we went to the ticket counter and suddenly my dad was there and my friends changed to alica and nicole morgan and some i other friends(just can't remember who they are). i saw the price of the ticket and one ticket costed $170. i was like OMG, it's so expensive. but to my surprise, my father told said if i wanted to see the concert, he'll just buy the tickets. i was like what the hell, since when was he so willing to pay for such an expensive ticket. i mean i usually have to persuade him to buy tickets for me to watch a concert.

i thought that it was a waste of money because he also had to pay for my friends so i decided not to watch the concert. but i was picturing what was happening in the concert venue. it was like i was there, but i wasn't.then, i ended up in this restaurant. i recognize it because i saw this restaurant in another dream. it was just crazy. i was so confused then my father's friend was there, talking to my father. and then my brother's school was beside the restaurant. then all the students were sitting on big white round chairs i have at home. they were waiting for their parent's to pick them up. it was just crazy. my mind was about to explode.

for once i thought that i would stop having all this crazy dreams. well, i stopped dreaming for awhile and suddenly it starts again. luckily, my phone rang and i woke up. i was in total shock. i hate these kinds of dreams. anyway, i had another one of those dreams. tell u bout it when i have time...

okay, i've just finished watching MTV Amplified. it's kinda obvious why i was watching it. i wanted to see my favourite band's music video....at #2. The Academy Is...-Summer Hair= Forever Young. it's such a cool music video.

anyway, there were definitely some crazy bands. it was serious metal. but, what can u expect from a countdown for the greatest rock songs ever!! some bands were crazy...eg. Disturbed, Slipknot, Atreyu, Metallica, Dragonforce. the guitarists from Dragonforce is crazy. thay play the guitar like hell. u can check out the music video for Heroes of Our Time. they can move their fingers extremely fast and the guitar solo is awesome. i was so awestricken when i saw them play.

of course there were some other songs that were more on the pop side...eg. Boys Like Girls, The Academy Is..., Forever The Sickest Kids. oh yar!talking bout the academy is..., i had another dream last night. tell u in the next post.

09 Nov...HAPPY B'DAY TO ME!!! (Sunday, November 9, 2008 / 3:47 PM)

IT'S MY 13 BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! i feel so pumped up about it...can't wait to blow out the candles on my beautiful cake. my dad had just collected the cake. it looked awesome. one of the best cakes i've ever had for the past 12 years and also one of the most expensive cakes i've ever had.

my bro bought me some earrings... and nicole lim,my bestie, bought me this awesome pouch with skulls on it. i loved it so much that i used it the moment she gave it to me. and my dad bought me a watch with skulls on it...i loved it too. but it wasn't as great as my present last year. he gave me a camera...my birthday last year was on the exact same day as primary 6 graduation night. i still remembered that my partner, priya gave me a pair of pink star-shaped earrings...it looked so sweet.

i'm still waiting for my present from my sis. i told her that i wanted an ipod cover from Borders. i couldn't bear to spend my money on a thing like that. i'd rather use my money on other things. but since there is an opportunity to get it now, i'll grab the opportunity. i may be going out with my volleyball buddy tomorrow to celebrate our b'days. her birthday is next week so we might as well celebrate it together.

i've got friends sending me birthday wishes through sms...it's so sweet of them. they remembered my birthday... anyway, i'm going to my grandma's house later to celebrate my birthday with my family. sorry that i had no time to celebrate with u guys...sigh. i'm still planning on blogging about how i spent my friday at the Padang. there was an event called 'Breathe' organized by the health promotion board. my volleyball team were bored to death... i shall tell u more bout it in the next entry. till then, see u soon...
