Today, i was felling quite unwell. i had to skip training because of that. anyway, with the help of some good rest and medicine, i felt much better... and don't worry regina, i will be turning up for training next week( if there is). i can't wait for training....hope that there is gonna be full day training.

Rock Band ( / 11:14 AM)

yesterday, we had sports day. some of my classmates took part in some events. i should say that they did pretty well though. although they did not win 1st place, i was pretty impressed by their performance and definitely appreciated their guts for taking part in the events. as you know my stamina ain't that good, i did not take part in any events even when mdm yau asked me to go.

you may be thinking how come a girl from a sports CCA doesn't have good stamina. well, let me answer that question. i'm good at playing the game but i'm not good at running. anyway, anila, christina, abuna and i had planned to meet at the MRT station. everything was fine until speed tagged along since he did not know how to go there. when we reached yishun, joel chua and shi an was there. why couldn't he follow them?! instead he still followed us!!! but everything was fine after we reached the stadium.

after sports day, some of my friends decided to come to my house to play rock band. it was really crazy. jessica had the idea that all of us had to choose expert. everything was fine except the drummer. it was really hard to play the drums on expert mode. so we came up with this idea that every one has to hit one colour. si ya was really funny. she called the paddle the 'hole puncher' we couldn't stop laughing. yi qing really sucked at guitar...no offence. but she was quite enthusiastic when she sang. wan qing was quite good at the drums. yu ning was struggling with the drums. the rest were fine.

candice had to go home at 5. her parents called her, then she told us to hurry up and let her play one last song before she went back. but one song became more than one. after she was satisfied she went home. luckily, she did not lose her way again. yi qing got tired of playing so she used the computer in my room. we kept playing the same song-Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. at around six, i went to the kitchen to make some pizza. they were struggling outside because no one played the guitar and whats more, it was on expert mode.i went out, then i fought with my brother. my friends thought that he was just a cute and innocent little boy, but in the end, they saw his true colours. it was really fun playing with you guys. thanks for the fun!!! here are some pictures...enjoy

GOLF!!! (Tuesday, October 21, 2008 / 6:40 PM)

Tuesday's post exam activity was golf. it was not as boring as i thought i would be. i kinda forgot how to play golf. even if the teacher said it was good, i thought it was bad. somehow, the coach looked very familiar, like he had taught my previous school before.

anyway, it was really hot there. jessica started to take her umbrella out. it was really funn because no one takes out an umbrella while plaing golf. then, when the teacher was showing us an example of chipping, there were a few american golfers chipping the ball into the green, so he asked us to take a look at how they do it. they were like pro's. everytime the ball went into the hole, we would start clapping and the clapping would suddenly fade away, awaiting for the next golfer to take his move.

i managed to hit some good balls.then wehad a break. after the break, we headed to the driving range where we learnt to do the full swing. after that, there was a competition on who could hit the ball the furthest. everyone had one try. in the end, samuel and christina were named the champions!! THEIR PRIZE WAS.....a can of Pepsi. christina hit like a pro. always hitting the ball to a 100, even close to a 150!!

in the afternoon, yu ning, christina, anila, si ya and candice came to my house and we played rock band. i t was really exhilarating. everyone was trying their best to hit every note. we took turns to play every instruments. later, we talked for a while in my room and i did some crazy stuff(you'll get to know later). and i decided to wacth "the grudge 2". yu ning was soooooo scared.we watched it for a while and it became boring, so we continued playing rock band. anila and i tried singing in the expert mode. it was quite challenging as you had to get the pitch exactly right. we sang i'm so sick and shouted like mad. my throat became quite pain.

si ya refused to play the guitar. but i insisted on it and she agreed. i changed it to lefty mode and she played quite well. we had a really fun time together and we are definitely looking forward to plan for halloween and to go trick-or-treating. i'm still dressing up as a mummy....although the thought of a secret agent comes to my mind. it would be so cool. all of has dressing the same and walking together in a straight line!!! here are some pictures and a video, do enjoy

Post exam activity (Monday, October 20, 2008 / 6:34 PM)

today, our post exam activity was chinese brush painting. i thought that it was quite boring. i think that the wiring class is the most fun as they teach you how to make a human figure out of wires. another group also got to learn jewellery making which i thought was quite cool.(couldn't imagine that the guys had to make jewellery too).

so, when my friend and i were heading towards the class, we saw this old guy holding a container of water. i was like"is that our teacher" i turned out that he was our teacher. the bad thing was that he could only speak chinese. i could not understand half the things he was saiyng as yuou know my chinese is horrible. how horrible you ask.....i scored 19/70, that's how horrible it is.

so we started out buy laying the newspaper on our table and learn the basic techniques on how to paint using the brush. we had a small plate of black ink. i dipped the brush into the water, and the water turned solid black.

when i first started out, it looked horrible, but it started to get better the more times i tried. it was not as easy as it looks. anyway, there's this funny part. the teacher came to me and helped me to paint the bamboo. and there were art teachers from my school walking around the classes and taking pictures. one of my art teacher thought that i painted the bamboo and asked if she could take a picture of me with the painting. i felt so guilty!!!! i did not paint that!!! the old guy did...

the class was quite boring though, but at least i learnt something new. tomorrow our post exam activity is golf. i'm thinkin, why golf?? the secondary two students get to learn drumming and in -line skating. i've been playing golf for two years.....i have suffered enough. you only get bitten by lots of mosquitoes at the golf course and it is really hot. just hope i can get through tomorrow without dying from a heat stroke or dengue. here are some pictures, enjoy...

HALLOWEEN!! (Sunday, October 19, 2008 / 11:14 PM)

hey there peeps!! it's claire here... as you know halloween is coming up. have any thoughts bout it?? well, i've been planning what to dress up as. many thoughts have been going through my mind since then. i was thinkin bout the grim reaper, a punk, an angel or a mummy. i think i'm going with the mummy.

so basically the whole concept on the mummy is to wrap myself up in bandages (obviously not the whole body, i'll die of heat ) and put some red paint on to make it look like blood. what u think bout that?? erm, if u have any other ideas for me as what i should dress up as, pls do not hesitate to tell me bout it, i'm opened to every idea.

okay, so all the items that i'm using has to be affordable. i think bandages are affordable. i checked them out this afternoon and found out that the smallest roll is $2.55 for 4metres. i mean, how many bandages do u think i would use?? i went to NTUC Fairprice and saw some really cool halloween stuff. there were so many interesting masks there and other accessories. anyway, i'm really looking forward to it.
