ZOO!! (Friday, October 10, 2008 / 12:34 PM)
woohoo!! exams are finally over...and the holidays are coming!!! but i think the holiday is too long. for the first one week of holiday u will think it is really fun, but after that
u'll just find it
borin and u will have to endure it until the start of next year. i really wish i could go back to
america again...it's really fun there, i miss that place.
anyway, i went to the zoo yesterday with
jessica,
yu ning and
siya. we had lots of fun there. we took a bus at 10 and left the zoo at 6. we were
soooo tired from all the walking. we saw like all the animals in the zoo. we saw the elephant show.then we went into the fragile forest and we were like screaming(except
siya) as there were butterflies flying around. then we got really close to this really cute animal and
siya touched it.
then we went to see animals of
australia. it's such a pity that they do not have any koalas there. but we manged to see kangaroos and there was this big bird that looked like an ostrich that came right beside us. after looking at more animals we ate at
kfc and beside
kfc was this water playground. we got really wet there, especially
siya, she was drenched with water.then it suddenly rained so heavily. after that, we saw this really big
orang utan. it was so hairy and big, it looked like
somekind of monster.
we went to see the sea lions and penguins. then there was this big pool of water filled with sea lions, seals and manatees.
siya thought those were whales. i was like is the zoo that big to have whales?? after that we decided to rest, so we took a boat ride along the
seletar reservoir. there was nth much to see there. we were all looking into the water, trying to catch a glimpse of any fish that passed by. we got much energized after the boat ride.
then
jessica wanted to see flamingos and she took a picture with the flamingos the rain had stop so we decided to go for the elephant ride.
yu ning was walking so fast that we could not catch up with her. we sat on the elephant and then we went to collect our photos we took at the counter. it cost us 35 bucks for 3 photos.finally we went home. it was one of the most fun experience ever.
